The Mystress: Ms. Clayton is our modern day Oracle. Not unlike Casey, Nostradamus (wrapped in Poe's remarkable gift of verse and storytelling), she is our seer, our visionary, our woman of wisdom and knowing. She listens to the voices of the ones she refers to as her Otheres - inter-dimensional beings that have been with her for as long as she can remember. She makes no apologies, does not see any reason to explain their relationship other than to say that they belong to the All. Whether or not you are aware, there have been many men who have taken on the task of revealing through verse and those women who have offered their share were canonized as saints. She seeks no such honor - she is a simple woman with a complex understanding of the beyond. She answers to no dogma, hides from no naysayers or witch hunts, and certainly chooses her own paths or creates them. Some call her The Mystress, The Goddess, The Seer, The Listener, The Messenger, The Catalyst. I call her my friend.
